Fires in Australia

Here are some pictures of the recent firestorm and devistation in Australia. At last count, they believe that over 200 people have died, more than 1,800 homes were destroyed and 7,500 people have been displaced by the hundreds of fires that burned earlier in the month.

The fires mostly appear to have been started by lightning - however a few appear to have been arson, and are under investigation - entire towns being declared crime scenes.

Let's keep the affected people and firefighters in our prayers.
